It is a voluntary organization working for the development of literacy and creating awareness among the masses about Science & Technology and striving for their up-liftment in all spheres of the life through it. The promoters are in the field of education.
Lal Bahadur Shastri Training Institute is the first government registered institute set up in dehradun (uttrakhand) in the year 1996, which was inaugurated by hon'ble Mohd. Iftfarooqdeen (IAS) Vice chancellor MDDA. The details of other centres which were inaugurated by the personalities are Mr. Nityanand Swami (Sabhapati Vidhan Parishad UP). Mr.Harbans Kapoor (hon'ble Minister of rural development, UP). Mr Sanjay Garg (honorable minister of state for trade tax UP), Mr. Satya Narayan Srivastava, (city Magistrate, dehradun). Mr.Manoharma Sharma ( mayor dehradun). Mr. Surender Kumar Munni (MLA , Ghaziabad).Lal Bahadur Shastri Training Institute organized many Govt.training programs in association with UPCIO.

Lok Kalyan Samajik Sanstha intends to provide consultancy support to all States in the India in the area of educational planning & administration for opening, diversifying and developing the existing or new institutions for managing the third millennium. Lok Kalyan Samajik Sanstha is committed to help the country in diagnosing the societal needs and requirements in order to define the level of learning to meet the need of its population and helping them establishing the appropriate targets and derive suitable strategies for implementing the policies & programmes to meet the educational and institution building needs.
The Lok Kalyan Samajik Sanstha is a charity based organization which seeks to help the Average Students to prepare for work. Through non-traditional training the trust to teach the unemployed people the skills that they need to secure long term employment. In it’s centers the trust gives REAL work experience. Through some Tieup with local industries trust is able to train the candidates on actual processes and training. People coming through The Trust’s work experience programme build confidence, learn skills such as time keeping, team work and communication skills and receive support to find and secure long term employment. It is a no-pressure environment which gently builds up to the pressures of industry allowing the candidate to grow and adapt to the needs of a modern working environment. Alongside the non-traditional work experience programme trust also offers a variety of qualifications suitable to the needs of the individual. This may be an award in Employability Skills or Health and Safety Awareness, a Traineeship. Each person is assessed and the training tailored to their specific needs and wants ensuring the best result for the individual.
The Trust is currently offering the Skill Development programme for people who are aged between 16 to 40 years. A Skill Development programme is can last anything from 6 weeks to 12 months depending upon the amount of support that you need to build up the correct skills and attitudes needed for the workplace. Although it is unpaid it does not affect any benefits that you may be receiving and bursaries are available through the Education Funding Agency.
beside running higher education Institutes the trust also offer the vast range of subjects such as Corel Draw/ Page Maker/ Photoshop, welding and metal work, media and PR, grounds maintenance, administration and commercial exposure are also offered.
Health camps is a special initiative of Lok Kalyan Samajik Sanstha to provide health care services to meet the immediate health care needs of the marginalized community, The Trust organizes health camps offering curative, preventive, and promotive health services to a large number of people in selected intervention areas with a free of cost. Under health awareness programs The Trust organizes workshops, and presentations on health hazards, prevention of epidemic, and infectious diseases and general hygiene.
